Slang of the day, “So Ghetto!” baca INA “so geto” artinya “Sangat Ghetto!”. Kata “Ghetto” biasanya di pakai untuk mengilustrasi kan daerah “Slum” atau “over crowded” atau  “kumuh” di kota besar seperti New York City, Chicago, LA.

Pemakaian biasanya negative tapi bisa dipake sebagai pemakaian positive seperti di zaman 70an “Bad” berarti “Good” tergantung situasi pemakaian

Positive sebagai adjective biasanya dalam suasana excitement atau surprise.

Contoh-1: Did you see how he play the guitar, its so ghetto!!”

Contoh-1: Nggak kau lihat bagaimana dia main gitar, mantab kali bah!

Contoh-2: Did you build this car man? It’s so ghetto!”

Contoh-2: Kau rakit mobil ini kawan? Mantab kali bah!

Pemakaian Negative yang kebanyakan.

Contoh-1: This shirt made in XXX, I don’t like it. It’s so ghetto!

Contoh-1: Baju kaos ini buatan dari XXX, aku nggak suka. Kualitasnya nggak bagus! atau Design nya jelek!

Contoh-2: Do you know Danny. He is so ghetto!

Contoh-2: Kau kenal Danny. Dia tak becus!! Tak cool atau tak bisa bersosialisasi.

Contoh-3: This TV is so ghetto.

Contoh-3: TV ini rusak.

Positive “So Ghetto” = mantab, bagus, jago, cantik

Negative “So Ghetto” = buruk, jelek, kualitas rendah, tak cool, tak becus, classless, bogus.
